Ingredients
Onions -5
Ginger – 1 small piece
Gram Flour – 2 cups
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
Water – 1/2 cup
Vegetable oil – 1/2 cup
Instructions:
1. Chop onions into long pieces.
2. Chop ginger into very small pieces and add to the chopped onions.
3. Add gram flour, turmeric and salt into the chopped onions. Optionally, you can also add some red chilli powder to make it a bit spicy.
4. Mix everything well.
5. In a deep pan or wok, heat vegetable oil.
6. Make small balls of the onion mixture and deep fry in the hot oil.
7. After about 30 seconds, flip the ulli vada to fry the other side.
8. Serve while still hot with tea or coffee!!!
